You buy on the account page: sign in, choose a product, and pay on a page provided by the payment processor.
Founder
The first 500 accounts get 20% off Pro for life: $4 a month or $40 a year. Automatic renewals, buying again after a break and switching from monthly to yearly all stay at this price. The credits and features are exactly Pro's. Places are counted per account, and the offer closes once 500 are taken.
Credit packs
$10 adds 6,000 credits that never expire, the same price as a Pro month. A pack is drawn on only once the month's credits are used up. Packs are for Pro and Founder accounts; if your membership lapses, packs you already bought stay usable until they run out.
How hosted credit is charged
Every call is charged at the model vendor's published official dollar price × 1.3. The multiplier is stated here and fixed for two years; the vendor's peak and off-peak prices pass through as they are.
A credit is $0.001 of charge: a call draws the official dollar price × 1.3 × 1000 credits. Credits list at $1 = 600: a Pro month and a pack are at that price, while yearly and founder plans cost less for the same credits each month. At peak hours (weekdays 9–12 and 14–18 Beijing time, UTC+8) the vendor's official price doubles, so the same credits cover about half as many close readings.
The relay forwards your request unchanged: no model swaps, no prompt edits, no stored text. The account page lists every call's model, peak or off-peak, token counts and amount, so you can check it against the official price yourself.
The app shows your credit balance and roughly how many papers this month's credits cover, never a per-token price.
Questions
- Do credit packs expire?
- No. The monthly allowance resets each month; a pack never expires.
- What happens when the credit runs out?
- Hosted AI pauses until next month's allowance arrives or you add a pack; you can also switch to your own API key and carry on. The editor, the views and AI with your own key are unaffected.
- Can I get a refund?
- A monthly plan isn't refunded; cancel any time and it runs to the end of the period. A yearly plan or a pack refunds in full within 14 days of payment if none of its hosted credit was used. Withdrawal rights your local law gives you are unaffected.
- I can only pay with WeChat Pay. Can I buy?
- Yes. WeChat Pay takes one-off payments only, so you pay for a year at once, at the yearly price. It doesn't renew, and an email reminds you 7 days before it ends.
- What happens to my notes if I stop paying?
- Nothing. Your notes were always Markdown files in your folder, and the editor is free for good.
- No API key: can I try hosted AI first?
- Yes. A new account's first sign-in from the desktop app comes with 600 credits, about 6 close readings (3 at peak hours), valid for 14 days, no card needed.
